Position Overview
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Programs Manager will support the organization by optimizing its technology use and providing a range of operational and project support to The Impact Center’s programs and proposals. We’re looking for someone who is nimble, resourceful, and enjoys an expansive portfolio of responsibilities, including office management, developing creative technology solutions, and researching new opportunities.

Primary responsibilities include:
Serve as The Impact Center’s Go-To on Technology
Maintain The Impact Center’s technology stack, operational technology tools (G-suite, Zoom, Asana, Calendly, etc.) and continuously exploring new tools to improve the team’s virtual collaboration and efficiency, as well as the client and program participant experience.
Manage and optimize the organization’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (Hubspot), ensuring data accuracy and hygiene, implementing system updates, monitoring user access, generating reports and dashboards to track key metrics, optimizing the system infrastructure, and implementing new functionalities as needed.
Maintain and optimize The Impact Center’s website, serving as team lead for revisions and future redesign, and building and optimizing program portals.
Support The Impact Center Programs' Operation & Administrative Needs
Manage event logistics for The Impact Center programs, including researching and identifying venues, reservations, and maintaining lasting relationships with venues, catering management, and other operational players.
Support the project management of program design and delivery, as needed
Organize and maintain the organization’s shared drive files.
Curate internal and external meeting agendas.
Manage travel arrangements for senior staff, as needed.
Support Business Development and Strategic Partnerships
Support business development research, and client presentations, as needed.
Support the drafting and submission of proposals for prospective client engagements.
Support The Impact Center’s Operational and Financial Management
Maintain the organization’s Quickbooks Online account, including monthly bank reconciliations and reporting and allocation of expenses and income consistent with the organization's Chart of Accounts and classification system.
Process and submit monthly invoices to clients for work completed.
In collaboration with the COO, maintain accurate records of client engagements, contracts, and subcontractor agreements.
Process contracts for signature using Adobe Sign.
Support COO in the development of the organization’s annual budget; provide monthly reporting on the budget.

Tech-savvy, including advanced G-Suite tools, comfort in using Microsoft Office, Asana, Calendly, Zoom, and Quickbooks Online; Ability to maximize product capacities and tailor them to the needs of The Impact Center.
Experience with coordinating calendars and high-level meetings across time zones.
Team player with a high level of discretion and superb decision-making ability.
Basic knowledge of business financial practices and concepts.
Experience
A minimum of three years of experience is required. Success working in a remote office environment is preferred.
Benefits and Compensation
The Impact Center team is small, yet highly collaborative; we take our work seriously, but not ourselves, and strive for fun and camaraderie while advancing our mission.
This position is remote, as is all of The Impact Center’s staff. Although the position is virtual and can be accomplished from anywhere, The Impact Center’s senior staff are located in the greater Washington, D.C. area and the office generally operates on the East Coast’s workday.
This position is full time. The annual salary for the Programs Manager position is commensurate with experience and will range from $50,000 - $60,000. Full time employees at The Impact Center have access to an employer-sponsored retirement plan and ICHRA for healthcare premium reimbursement. The Impact Center also has a generous paid leave policy, including paid holidays, vacation, and personal days, and emphasizes the professional growth and development of employees.
