Kathy Laurini is President of Osare Space, providing strategic and tactical consulting services across the Aerospace community. Ms. Laurini left NASA in January 2019 after a 35-year career in human spaceflight.

Ms. Laurini is a leader with a global perspective, having worked with space agencies and industry teams around the world to identify challenges and solutions. She led NASA efforts to advance a coordinated strategy and develop a common space exploration roadmap.

Ms. Laurini served in leadership positions within the Space Shuttle, International Space Station and NASA exploration programs. She was Associate Program Manager for NASA’s Constellation Program aimed at human missions to the Moon and Mars. She was Project Manager for Altair, the human lunar lander. She served as Deputy Director for Human Health and Performance and Program Manager for the Human Research Program, aligning research and technology investments with exploration challenges. Ms. Laurini led International Space Station organizations focused on operations, system engineering and integration, payload integration and on-orbit operations management.

Ms. Laurini spent more than 15 years living and working in Europe. She received a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
