Impactful Public Leaders

To create meaningful change, leaders must be able to drive small but meaningful shifts in processes and policies as well as through large scale transformations. They must address and adapt to a range of major and minor challenges. Impact Center partners with senior leaders to navigate through internal and external challenges, plan strategically, and align their teams to focus on achieving results.

1:1 Executive Coaching

Executive coaching can be an important resource in your development as a leader. Working with an executive coach enables you to identify areas to strengthen your leadership, create a plan to develop those areas, try new leadership behaviors and strategies, navigate through internal and external challenges, and receive feedback to continually improve.

Team Alignment

Build cohesiveness into your new or existing team, address challenges in expansions, and facilitate team communication.

Strategic Planning

We will help you articulate a vision roadmap and create an operational plan that informs priorities and budgets.

Potential  Appointees

Drawing on the Impact Center’s experience designing and delivering leadership and management training for the most senior leaders in the Obama Administration, these trainings ensure that senior leaders are positioned to deliver on a new administration’s strategic priorities.

Boot Camps

Developed to ensure that senior appointees have the awareness and skills that they need to meet the challenges and opportunities of their new positions from the outset.

Workshops

Appointees should have the requisite skills to deal effectively with a broad array of complex challenges. Sessions target the essential skills needed in your new role.

Most appointees do not come in with management experience, are expected to hit the ground with full knowledge, and often operate without guidance. The Impact Center helps managers to translate and focus on key Administration priorities.

Governmental agencies fall short, far too often, due to a failure of execution, and the failure to execute is often due to a leader’s inability to achieve extraordinary results with the staff they have inherited or hired. The Impact Center’s unique niche is building individual, team and organizational capacity by training senior government staff to be not only good managers but excellent leaders while effectively navigating the barriers encountered in governmental bureaucracy.
