Women’s Leadership Programming For Your Leaders

The Impact Center’s Women’s Leadership Institute partners with organizations to provide professional development to their high-performing women leaders. Our approach is grounded in our decade-long experience delivering our signature Women’s Executive Leadership Program and informed by what high performing leaders need to navigate the complexities inherent in leadership.

Our Women’s Leadership Institute Philosophy

At The Impact Center we believe a new model of leadership is ascending, one that emphasizes collaboration, inclusion, and diversity. Women are often at the forefront of this seachange.

Our Women’s Leadership Institute supports women as they navigate the complexities inherent in leadership, providing them with crucial strategies and tools to expand their growth within a community of other women leaders, grounded in their real-life experiences in leadership, professional growth, and personal fulfillment.

My cohort peers and I agreed this was the best thing we did for our professional development and personal growth this year.

Partnering with The Impact Center’s Women’s Leadership Institute

We have two avenues for partnering with organizations:

  1. We can develop your top women leaders through our Women’s Executive Leadership Program (WEL Program).

  2. We can design and deliver a women’s leadership program specific to your organization and talent, modeled on our successful WEL Program.

The Women’s Executive Leadership Program is an opportunity for self-reflection, personal investment and growth. I am benefiting from a renewed sense of purpose, an amazing new network of colleagues, and a structure for taking the steps I need to achieve my goals.
— Julie C., WEL Program 2015 Alum

Our Signature Women’s Executive Leadership Program

Our Women’s Executive Leadership Program brings together a cohort of 12-15 leaders across industries and sectors for a 4 month program that includes in-person retreats, virtual peer learning, and 1:1 executive coaching.

Accomplished candidates apply and are accepted into the program based on their record of achievement, readiness for growth, and commitment to developing  others.

By partnering, you can reserve a seat in an upcoming cohort for your top talent - working with us to identify successful candidates but bypassing the competitive application process for your leaders to join the program.

You can read more here about the program’s curriculum and upcoming cohort dates.

If not for the Women’s Executive Leadership Program I would not have understood how to actually apply my leadership skills — it’s not about learning a textbook on leadership, it’s understanding the applicability and impact of good qualities for leadership.
— Miranda C., WEL Program 2023 Alum

A Cohort of Our Women’s Executive Leadership Program, Tailored For Your Leaders

We know that some organizations want an in-house program for their women leaders, and we can bring our program model to you. We’ll work with you to build a cohort of your leaders for our 3 month program, anchored by in-person retreats, virtual peer learning, and 1:1 executive coaching.

This highly effective model is based on more than a decade of success with hundreds of accomplished leaders who have graduated from our Women’s Executive Leadership Program.

The Women’s Executive Leadership Program helped me to build my confidence and chart a better path forward for our clients.

A Closer Look: Women’s Leadership Institute Programming

Whether you enroll your talented leaders  in our Women’s Executive Leadership Program or we tailor the program to a cohort within your organization, program participants will receive the following benefits:

  • Accelerated leadership growth

  • A dedicated space to define their own vision for authentic leadership and to develop a plan for achieving growth and development goals

  • Tangible takeaways to bring back to their teams for improved cohesion, collaboration, and impact.

And critical to the program’s success, this happens in a community of peers who understand the complexities women leaders face, share real-life strategies and learnings, and provide the space for honest conversations and support.

Our Women’s Executive Leadership Program begins and ends with in-person retreats and includes virtual peer learning and 1:1 executive coaching in between. More details regarding Program structure are available here. Tailored programs for organizations follow this model, but can be adapted to the timing, scaling, and scope that matches your needs.

Through both approaches, participants will come away with:

  • Concrete strategies to navigate the unique experience of women in executive, corporate, and leadership roles;

  • A leadership vision to articulate their strengths, goals, and plans for ongoing professional development and growth;

  • A customized and actionable plan to make progress on their individual development;

  • The capacity to build stronger, more inclusive and psychologically safe teams, and elevate others through mentorship and sponsorship;

  • Tools  immediately tackle real-work goals and challenges with a more informed and intentional approach to leadership; and

  • Access to an active, diverse alumni network upon graduation from the program for ongoing support, advice, and network connections, and community.

If not for the Women’s Executive Leadership Program I would be running the same grinding pace, focused solely on putting out fires, problem solving, and productivity. Instead, I am now able to look up and out, and truly build a team of leaders around me.
