Leadership Circle: Leading in Uncertain Times

 

We are excited to announce one of our newest offerings for Impact Center Executive Leadership Program alums, Leadership Circle: Leading in Uncertain Times. 

We have designed this program to provide you with a reflective space away from the day-to-day demands of your personal and professional responsibilities, where you will engage with timely lessons to empower you to maximize your leadership and achieve clarity in the midst of uncertainty and change

This Leadership Circle harnesses the power of community to create a supportive, close-knit cohort where peers will not only drive their own growth but will also play an active role in holding their fellow leaders accountable to achieving goals that will strengthen their impact in their roles and advance their professional development. Participants of this in-depth leadership development experience will come away with a renewed perspective on their development, tools for success, and clarity on the changes and opportunities that lie ahead.

Program Details

We are currently inviting alumni of The Impact Center’s Executive Leadership Programs to participate in the Leading in Uncertain Times Leadership Circle. We highly encourage alumni from our 2023 and 2024 cohorts to register for our Leadership Circle: Cohort 2025, another Leadership Circle that is exclusively available to our most recent graduates.

If you are interested in learning more, attend our virtual information session taking place on April 29 from 12:00-12:30 ET.

Please note that seats are limited to 15 participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.   

The goal of this completely virtual program is to provide alumni with a community of leaders to grow with and through, and in doing so, expand your network and explore tested, practical approaches to navigating and leading through uncertainty, all while caring for yourself and your teams as you do.

Learning Objectives

Participants of this Leadership Circle will achieve the following learning objectives:

  1. Navigating Leadership Amidst Uncertainty

  2. Decision-Making in Unpredictable and Evolving Environments

  3. Leading Effective Teams in an Ever-Changing Landscape

Program Outcomes

By the conclusion of the program, participants will come away with:

  • A broadened network via a close community of peers who leaders can turn to for support, advice, and accountability. 

  • A roadmap for professional development featuring clear, actionable goals aligned with personal and/or organizational objectives.

  • Frameworks for leading through uncertainty and change.

  • A stronger command of and confidence in your own personal, authentic leadership style

Key Elements

Key elements of the Leadership Circle: Leading in Uncertain Times include:

  • A series of 8 virtual sessions that feature in-depth exploration of topics relevant for leaders navigating significant change and uncertainty. 

  • A Development Action Plan that each participant builds around specific leadership development goals they wish to achieve through the program. Participants will outline action steps they will take to achieve these goals and will use learnings from the program to advance their progress.

  • Featured guest speakers who will share perspectives and expertise on decision-making in uncertain times, leading effectively through evolving landscapes, and maximizing one’s leadership to meet the moment.

  • Weekly one-on-one sessions with fellow members of the program during which participants will have the opportunity to connect, share progress on development goals, and exchange support.

  • A virtual program portal where participants will connect with their peers in between sessions, share updates, and exchange insights on topics related to leading in today’s working environment.

  • Access to Impact Center facilitators for guidance on best practices for creating a successful Development Action Plan.

  • Focus on how participants can continue to promote their development goals beyond the program.

Registration for the program will close on June 13, 2025 at 5:30pm Eastern Time

Fees

The program fee for participation is $4,950. Participants who are employed in academia, by startups,* or by non-profits with revenue of less than $5 million annually are eligible for a reduced rate of $2,500. 

*Here we define startup as a newly established business that is not-yet generating revenue.

As a reminder, this program is available to WEL Program participants who graduated in 2022 or earlier. Alumni from our 2023 and 2024 cohorts can register for our Leadership Circle: Cohort 2025, also exclusively developed for WEL alums.
